Impact and evolution data of the PUCMM Library System User Training Program (2020–2022)
Description
This dataset compiles the experience of the Library System of the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) through its User Training Program. It documents the evolution of the User Training Unit from its formal establishment in August 2019 to July 2022. The main data include: 1. Infrastructure and reach: Information on the locations (Santiago, Santo Domingo, Postgraduate Studies, and Puerto Plata) and service capacity (>1,500 users). 2. Training Program metrics (2020-2022): Records of 412 workshops offered at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, reaching more than 7,600 participants in face-to-face, virtual, and blended learning formats. 3. Use of Digital Resources: Database access data with more than 743,000 queries recorded following the implementation of the workshops. 4. Adaptation to the Pandemic (2020): Strategies and metrics for transitioning to virtuality during the health emergency.
