Description

The data set contains 600 healthy, 1100 damaged, and 395 different diseased (wilt, Anthracnose, canker, rot) guava fruit ( mature, half-mature, and mature) digital images with a 3000x3000 resolution. In addition, a total of 1821 raw thermal images in the same categories with a resolution of 1440 x 1080 were added. The images are uploaded day-wise, maturity-wise, and drop height-wise.

The fruit was damaged with 0.283kg of wooden weight dropped from a height of 15 cm, 30 cm, and 45 cm. Each maturity index contains 25 samples of healthy or without damaged fruit. Before capturing the images, all the fruit was stored in a refrigerated environment at 15 to 18 °C and 65 to 70 % humidity. The images were collected every day at 10 pm over seven days. The diseased (anthracnose, algal spot, fruit flies, style end rot, and dehydrated) guava fruit images were collected separately. During the thermal image acquisition, hot air was supplied to the testing chamber for 3 to 5 s with a temperature ranging from 20 °C to 35 °C, at a velocity of 1.0 m/s–2.0 m/s at an angle of 45°.
