Description

Five 3D.tif files containing the micro-CT scans of: 1) an impregnated block of sediment from Lapa do Santo, sample LDS-12-8 (Lapa do Santo - 09778 LDS 12-8); 2) an impregnated block of sediment from Lapa do Santo, sample LDS-12-1 (Lapa do Santo - 10090 LDS 12-1); 3) an oxisol fragment from Lagoa Santa (Central Brazil) (Oxisol); 4) a fragment of a large termite mound collected outside the site of Lapa do Santo (Lagoa Santa, Brazil) (Termite Large); 5) a fragment of a small termite mound collected outside the same site (Termite Small 0.03484). The two samples from Lapa do Santo and the oxisol fragment were scanned with a BIR ACTIS 225/300 high-resolution CT system at the Department of Human Evolution, Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (Leipzig, Germany). The two termite mound fragments were scanned with a SkyScan 1176 Bruker micro-CT at the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology, University of São Paulo (São Paulo, Brazil).
