Description

This dataset contains seven excel files. Each one contains production data (producing time, production rate and cumulative production). Description of files: File No. 1: contains production data of an unconventional dry gas reservoir. This data is taken from [T. Ahmed, “Chapter 18 - Modern Decline Curve Analysis,” in Reservoir Engineering Handbook, Fifth Edit., Gulf Professional Publishing, 2019, pp. 1389–1461]. File No. 2: Contains production data of a tight gas reservoir. This data is provided by Dr. Mazher Ibrahim. File No. 3: Contains production data of a tight gas reservoir. This data is provided by Dr. Mazher Ibrahim. File No. 4: Contains production data of a shale gas reservoir. This data is provided by Dr. Mazher Ibrahim. File No. 5: Contains production data of a shale gas reservoir. This data is provided by Dr. Omar Mahmoud. File No. 6: Contains production data of Well 1 - Eagle Ford Formation - Osprey Field. This data is extracted from datasets of SPE published online: https://www.spe.org/datasets/. File No. 7: Contains production data of Well 7 - Eagle Ford Formation - Sparrow Field. This is data extracted from datasets of SPE published online: https://www.spe.org/datasets/. The above files contain data after performing quality check to remove scattered points.
