Description

Quadripulse transcranial magnetic stimulation (QPS) was applied to the primary motor cortex (M1), the primary somatosensory cortex (S1), and the supramarginal gyrus (SMG) and angular gyrus (AG), with the inter-stimulus interval (ISI) in the trains of pulses set to either 5 ms (QPS-5) or 50 ms (QPS-50). QPS was repeated at 0.2 Hz for 30 minutes. Excitability change in the target site was examined by means of single pulse transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Results of the average motor-evoked potentials (MEP) ratio from the first dorsal interosseus (FDI) are shown for each time-point.
