This database presents the components related to the development of a low-cost, modular system for the rheological characterization of ferrofluids under magnetic fields. The system, compatible with conventional rotational rheometers, was fabricated using 3D printing techniques. Its design includes a central component that allows adjustment of the magnetic field intensity by integrating neodymium magnets. It also features a gauge for the vectorial characterization of the magnetic field intensity within a Cartesian coordinate system. The system ensures precise alignment between the applied magnetic field and the rheometer’s measurement geometry, and it supports testing at elevated temperatures with natural cooling.
