Description

The following microclimate simulation dataset supports the paper "Evaluating the effects of different tree species on enhancing outdoor thermal comfort in a post-industrial landscape," accepted in Environmental Research Letters (2024). As you can see below, there are different kinds of dataset files, each converted to ZIP files to reduce space. Each implementation scenario was divided into two parts, easily downloadable and extractable to a specific folder. These files contain both input and output data of simulations, 2.5D and 3D models, thermal comfort index data, and all other related files simulated by ENVI-met version 5.6.1. All data have been categorized based on the implementation scenarios. The other kind of file provided is related to measured and simulated data of the hottest day of summer utilized in this study. The CSV files are accessible through Excel software and have been divided based on each measurement point in the study, ranging from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm local time.
