Raw data of CO2 hydrate equilibrium conditions measurements in the CO2 – H2O – dimethyl sulfoxide system
The raw data is a file with the .dat extension for each separate experiment, containing the values of time, temperature (°C) and gauge pressure (bar) in the autoclave, obtained by measuring the equilibrium conditions for the carbon dioxide hydrate formation in the CO2 - H2O - dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) system at concentrations of organic solute in the aqueous phase from 0 to 50 mass%. Steps to reproduce
Convert gauge pressure (bar) to absolute pressure (bar) by adding 1 to all gauge pressures. Plot the dependence of the pressure in the autoclave on the temperature (Temperature (ｰC) Bath). By approximating the segments before and after hydrate decomposition with straight lines, determine the coordinates of the endpoint of the CO2 hydrate dissociation, in which there is an abrupt decrease in the slope of the dependence of pressure on temperature during slow heating (0.1 K/h) and intensive stirring of the system (600 rpm). The obtained values of the equilibrium temperature (°C) are converted to °K, the values of the equilibrium absolute pressure (bar) are converted to MPa.
