2.1 Materials Fruits: The 'France' prune fruits used in the experiment were harvested in mid-August 2023 from the local Kashgar prune orchard (75°51′42.786′′ E,39°22′32.887′′ N), artificially boxed and bagged, and immediately transported by air to a cold storage facility for reserve storage under near-freezing conditions (-1.5±0.5°C, 90-95% RH). Key reagents: PEA: 98% purity, purchased from Shanghai Yuanye Biotechnology Co., Ltd (Shanghai, China); carboxymethyl chitosan: BR, water soluble, purchased from Shanghai McLean Biochemical Co., Ltd (Shanghai, China); sodium alginate, viscosity range: 1.05-1.15, purchased from Tianjin Zhiyuan Chemical Reagent Co (Tianjin, China). Piperidine-1-oxyl radical nanocellulose oxidized cellulose nanofibers, carboxyl content: 1.84 mmol/g, manufactured by Tianjin Wood Wizard Biotechnology Co (Tianjin, China). 2.2 Pathogenic bacteria The pathogenic bacteria Penicillium crustosum, Botrytis californica and Alternaria alternata were isolated from naturally occurring prune fruits in cold storage and cultivated at a constant temperature (28±0.5°C) on potato dextrose agar (PDA).
