Description

This data repository comprises the data and computer codes needed to replicate the analyses carried out in the paper “Status of vulnerable Cystoseira populations along the Italian infralittoral fringe and relationships with environmental and anthropogenic variables.” Files organization: This repository holds a pdf document called “Status_Cyst_Repoducible_Research” and four compressed (zipped) directories: Data, Analyses, Tables, and Figures. The pdf document contains a description of the computer codes used to carry out the analyses in the paper. Data includes other two subdirectories: SourceData and OutputData. SourceData contains raw data, while OutputData is a repository for all the output files created during the analyses. R scripts are stored in the Analyses and are named depending on the type the analysis. Figures and tables created during the analyses are stored in the Figures and Tables directories respectively.

Steps to reproduce

To reproduce the files, you will need to install R statistical software (R Core Team, 2016) and PRIMER v.6 (Clarke and Gorley, 2006) with PERMANOVA+ (Anderson et al., 2008) for your operating system. Open the document “Status_Cyst_Repoducible_Research” to have a detailed explanation of how to reproduce the analyses. The appendix section of this file reports all the further R packages needed to run the R scripts.
