Datasets for: Longitudinal Changes in Psychological Flexibility and Emotional Well-Being Following a Brief Psychoeducational Intervention in Adults
Description
This repository provides the datasets supporting the manuscript “Longitudinal Changes in Psychological Flexibility and Emotional Well-Being Following a Brief Psychoeducational Intervention in Adults.” The files include data used to construct composite indices and to perform longitudinal linear mixed-effects modeling across three time points (pre-intervention, post-intervention, and follow-up) in a community adult sample following participation in the Introductory Course in Bioneuroemotion (CIB). Data are available in SPSS (.sav) and CSV (.csv) formats to ensure reproducibility and compatibility across statistical platforms.

Steps to reproduce
To reproduce the analyses reported in the manuscript, use the dataset titled “Dataset for composite index construction” to verify the principal component analysis (PCA) used to derive composite indices of psychological inflexibility and emotional well-being. Standardization procedures and T-score transformations are described in the manuscript. To replicate the longitudinal analyses, use the dataset titled “Dataset for linear mixed-effects models (LMMs).” Conduct linear mixed-effects modeling with assessment time (Pre, Post, Follow-up) as a repeated measure and group (Experimental vs. Wait-list Control) as a between-subject factor, including the covariates specified in the manuscript. Analyses were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics (version 31). Model specifications and statistical thresholds are detailed in the Methods section of the manuscript.
