Description

Hello, Here are the data & code to reproduce outputs reported in Cooper et al., 2022: Using species-habitat models to predict bird counts from urban development plans. The uploaded data includes GIS maps of each development for each scenario & code to reproduce the predictions figures & tables reported in the paper. The models are based upon Plummer et al., 2020. For data relating to the models, please see https://doi.org/10.1111/1365-2664.13703. The code & shapefiles to convert developments into model metrics are substantial in size and require licensed Land Cover Map 2007 & OS MasterMap 2010. Please contact joe.cooper@bto.org if this is required. scen is a folder seperating all 6 scenario dataset (baseline & 5 manipulations). Scenario_List.xlsx contains the manipulations applied to the baseline to produce the scenarios. Each folder contains: a zip folder containing the shapefile of all developments devdets.Rdata which gives the raw metrics for the developments urbandf.Rdata which gives the normalised metrics for the development relative to the wider dataset used in Plummer et al 2020 Models.Rdata = The models used in Plummer et al., 2020 Plummer2020_JApplEcol_data.RData = The dataframe of covariates used in Plummer et al., 2020 to produce those models predictions_code.Rdata = script to assess urbandf in a loop to produce the outputs, figures & tables reported. 20_rebuild_new_developments.R = The code used to turn shapefiles of a development merged with LCM & OSMM into the input metrics for the model
