Steps to reproduce

23 core samples from the Phillips CB Long C-16 core (Katz Field, Stonewall County, TX) were disaggregated, treated with HCl (24 hr) to remove carbonates, then HF (4 days, agitated) to remove silicates. Residues were neutralized, wet-sieved, and mounted on slides with PVA. Slides were scanned under transmitted light microscopy; palynofacies particles were counted to 200 per slide across five categories (opaque phytoclasts, translucent structured phytoclasts, spores, pollen, AMOM) following Batten and Stead (2005). Sporomorph taxa were identified, photographed, and compared to Palynodata range data for Texas.
