Description

Data on creep andrecovery of two types of high density polyethylene (HDPE) filled with multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) are presented . Samples with different contents of MWCNT were tested under nominal stresses corresponding to 0.25 and 0.5 from the yield stress. Creep time was 30 min or 1 h, while recovery time was three times longer. Totally, data of 72 tests are presented. Nanocomosites are characterised by lower creep strains and irreversible strains. Data can be useful for modelling of nonlinear viscoelastic-viscoplastic behaviour of polymers and nanocomposites.
