Description

Processed data for the article titled "A High Throughput Computational Tool to Evaluate the Influence of Scaffold Architecture, Material Selection, and Loading Modality on the Cellular Micromechanical Environment in Tissue Engineering Strategies"

Files

Steps to reproduce

The processed data were derived from raw output files from an Abaqus script written in Python. Each job produced three files containing the raw node data, raw element data, and a preliminary post-processing file from the region of interest. The raw data were not included due to storage limitations. The processed data in this repository were used for all plots in the article. In the "summary" files, data include the raw values for the number of volumes in the ROI that met the CME target and the total number of volumes in the ROI. These values are also provided based on the number of nodes that each volume had in contact with the fiber architecture. From these values, the %PTE were calcualted. Additional "heatmap" files give the %PTE for various load fraction values. Plots are included for some results that show how the %PTE was derived from the raw CME distribution.
