Description
This report measures local-citation directory availability across 45 business verticals, based on a live index of 1,134 active citation sources (July 2026). For each vertical it reports how many directories accept listings for that category, what share of them are free, and the flagship platform by Domain Rating. Key findings: per-category directory counts range from 95 (contractors) down to 32 (taxi and car hire), with the average vertical at roughly 55; ten of the 45 tracked verticals have no category-specific platform at all, so their citation profile consists of universal and country-level directories; the free share per vertical ranges from 59% (real estate agents) to 98% (pet services, camping, childcare, arts, web design).
