Title of program: SEMIEMPIRICAL ALPHA HALF-LIFE Catalogue Id: ABQQ_v1_0 Nature of problem From the alpha decay Q-values, the partial half-life T is estimated by using five semiempirical relationships. The parameters of these formulae have been obtained from a fit with a given set of experimental data on four groups of alpha emitters: even-even, even-odd, odd-even and odd-odd. For each nuclide only the strongest transition is considered and the data are automatically sorted into the four groups mentioned above.
