Description

This data set contains measurements of thermal radiation from flames over thin sheets of PolyMethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) and cellulosic fuel. The spreading flames are stabilized at a fixed vertical location (at room conditions) by counter moving the sample holder at the same speed of the flames. The radiometer consists of a thermopile detector, and the distance between flame and sensor, as well as its field of view, can be varied. The sensor is not calibrated; instead, it gives an output voltage between 1 and 5 V.
