This data set reflects the grades, gender identification, times courses were taken, and first-year generation status from students who took Basic Writing, Composition1, or Composition 2 between Fall semester 2011 and Fall semester 2018. This data is from one four-year, polytechnic, open-enrollment university in a midwestern state in the USA.
