This dataset compiles publications by Russian researchers from the student body of the South Ural State Medical University, covering various aspects of the spread, prevention, and treatment of COVID-19, as well as its implications for specific population groups such as pregnant women, patients with chronic diseases, and youth. Each publication includes detailed sections on aims, methodology, and results, providing a comprehensive overview of the research topics addressed. This dataset serves as a resource for analyzing student-led scientific research in the field of COVID-19.

Steps to reproduce
In this study, five collections of final scientific-practical conferences proceedings authored by undergraduate and graduate students participating internationally at South Ural State Medical University (from 2020 to 2024, volumes 74-78) were analyzed. The database includes studies from 2021 to 2023. Rationale for selecting the object of study: Final conference proceedings feature materials produced annually by students working under departmental academic circles throughout the year. In total, 312 abstracts of research papers published in the conference proceedings were examined. Among them, 15 works specifically addressing the topic of COVID-19 were identified. The dataset contains tables in Russian and English containing information about the author, aims, methodology, and results. Declaration on the use of artificial intelligence. In the process of translating the database from Russian to English, GigaChat's generative AI was used for text editing.
