Description

This study investigates the control of sea-level changes and tectonics on the Late Quaternary depositional history of the Kaveri Delta, India. The research hypothesis is that marine transgressions during the Pleistocene and Holocene shaped the stratigraphic architecture and delta morphology. To test this, we analyzed four 25 m-long sediment cores using quartz OSL dating. The dataset contains OSL chronology details, including the sample depth, radionuclide concentrations, and material used.
