Electrocoagulation combined with 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy for primary cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma in elderly patients: Potential as an effective and minimally invasive treatment
Description
This dataset contains the supplementary materials of the paper “Electrocoagulation combined with 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy for primary cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma in elderly patients: Potential as an effective and minimally invasive treatment”. The supplementary materials are divided into three parts: figures, tables, and videos. The supplementary figures mainly present the entire treatment process of the patients, specifically including “Fig 1. Immediate Post-Electrocoagulation Effect in Squamous Cell Carcinoma; Fig 2. Clinical Images of Patients' Treatment Course; Fig 3. Electrocoagulation Causes Less Damage to Normal Tissues Compared to Conventional Wide Local Excision”. The supplementary tables summarize the clinical data of the patients, specifically including “Table I. Clinical Characteristics of the Patients before Treatment; Table II. Course of Treatment, Outcomes, and Complications of the Patients; Table III. Electrocoagulation produces a unique ‘differential carbonization effect’ on tumor tissue and normal tissue”. The supplementary videos demonstrate the actual operation process of electrocoagulation combined with photodynamic therapy.
