Description

This dataset includes the molecular weights and monosaccharide compositions of 41 microbially fermented polysaccharides, as well as the types of glycosidic bonds of 24 microbially fermented polysaccharides. There are two versions available for use with SPSSPRO and SPSS Modeler, respectively, suitable for principal component analysis and the Apriori algorithm. The dataset also includes the monosaccharide composition of 12 types of plant polysaccharides before microbial fermentation, the monosaccharide composition after fermentation, and the difference between the two.

Steps to reproduce

Using SPSSPRO, a cluster analysis of the molecular weights of 41 polysaccharides resulted in Table S1; Principal component analysis was conducted on the top 7 types of monosaccharides with higher proportions, resulting in Table S2 and Table S3; principal component analysis was performed on the top 6 types of glycosidic bonds with higher proportions, yielding Table S5 and Table S6. Association rule analysis of monosaccharide composition was conducted using the Apriori algorithm in SPSS Modeler, resulting in Table S4; association rule analysis of glycosidic bond types yielded Table S7.
