The impact of the challenge and hindrance stress on Chinese hotel employees job satisfaction

Description

The research focuses on employees of star-rated foreign hotels in Shanghai, China, covering dimensions such as gender, age, marital status, educational background, department nature, and rank. Females account for more than 60% in terms of gender; the age distribution is scattered, and employees at middle age and above account for nearly 60%; married employees are slightly more than unmarried ones; the educational background is dominated by junior college and below, and there is also a certain proportion of those with undergraduate and above degrees; the proportion of front-line employees is higher than that of second-line employees; management personnel account for more than half of the surveyed group.
