This paper presents the data set of factors affecting distance learning of Vietnamese female students which were collected in COVID-19 pandemic. This is significant because the Vietnamese government continues to encourage distance education after the pandemic, and also aims to ensure equity in education, especially gender equality in education. We show that this data set can be used for further researches comparing distance learning processes among countries at this period, and recommendations for distance education development policies in countries with similar backgrounds.
