Description

Usual ceramic technology (UCT) and hot pressing (HP) have been applied to obtain GdNbO4 ceramic samples. Both samples were vacuum annealed. Photoluminescence spectra of the samples: a) - GdNbO4 (UCT) before and after vacuum annealing; b) GdNbO4 (HP) before and after vacuum annealing. Photoluminescence spectra of the studied samples were recorded by a SOL SL-100M spectrograph with a FLI ML 1107 CCD detector BlackIlluminated (Hamamatsu) in the visible spectrum (380-800 nm). An excitation source was He-Cd laser with λex=325 nm and 15 mW. The input slit of the monochromator was 0.002 mm.
