Description

This dataset accompanies the paper "An Upper-branch Brewer Dobson Circulation index for attribution of stratospheric variability and improved ozone and temperature trend analysis". It contains these variables: Durbin-Watson test, coefficient of determination, adjusted coefficient of determination for our MLR model and p-values, confidence interval, and regression coefficient for the trend regressor included in our MLR model as a variable which we are focuded in our paper. All file variables express dependency on order of AR modeling and (not)including of UBDC proxy analyzed over the periods 1983-2005 for temperature (JRA-55, MERRA, SSU) time series or 1985-1997 and 1998-2012 for ozone (GOZCARDS, SBUV-Mer., SBUV-MOD, SWOOSH) time series. For particular temperature and ozone datasets see references in the accompanying paper.

Steps to reproduce

Follow the methods described in the paper (10.5194/acp-2016-449; mainly about an MLR analysis using the UBDC index) will allow one to reproduce these files for anyone of the particular datasets outlined.
