, Description
This study aimed at illustrating the limitations of the binary/zonal travel impedance weights and the potential of fuzzy set theory in defining continuous travel impedance weights in Floating Catchment Area (FCA) measures. To illustrate this in a real-world, the study implemented the Enhanced (E) Fuzzy-based (F) Two-step Floating Catchment Area (2SFCA) measures to calculate spatial accessibility of water points in Rural Wards of Dodoma Urban District, Tanzania. The resulting E2SFCA and F2SFCA accessibility indices are provided in this repository.
