Description

A comprehensive dataset of natural carbonation depth in concrete, measured using the phenolphthalein spray method, is presented. The dataset compiles information from 73 studies (66 peer-reviewed articles and 7 technical reports, 1958 – 2022) and includes 1,079 unique mix designs for paste, mortar, and concrete, with over 90% being concrete. Recorded data include binder chemical composition, mix proportions, fresh state properties, curing and carbonation exposure histories, resulting in a total of 8,194 depth measurements, the largest of its kind.
