Research hypothesis- Show the relationship between dimensions of policy risk such as political system of the country influence renewable energy investment (H1), government subsidies influence renewable energy investment (H2), and role of regulatory agencies influence renewable energy investment (H3). Excel sheet was used to store data because it is very flexible to use and reproduce data at any method or process.

Steps to reproduce

The structural questionnaire was employed and split into two parts for survey. The first section contained the respondents' demographic information, while the second section dealt with the factors that influence policy risks in renewable energy investment. Renewable energy producers and service providers were the population for the research. Stratified sampling method was used for this research. Investors and top-level authorities were involved to respond the questionnaire. One hundred and forty questionnaires were distributed and 110 were collected from respondents. A five-point Likert scale was used to evaluate the policy risks factors rating from strongly disagreed (1), disagreed (2), neutral (3), agreed (4) strongly agreed (5). Excel sheet was used to store data because it is easy to reproduce at any time.
