Description

The Pb(II) content in the solution may be determined using a UV vis spectrophotometer at pH 5, with xylenol orange as the chromogenic agent. The absorbance is recorded at 570 nm. The calibration curve for Pb(II) concentration is provided in the file. Pb(II) solutions are prepared by dissolving Pb(NO3)2 in deionized water.
