Sub mice demonstrated markedly elevated serum corticosterone levels in response to restraint stress (A), while PRS-exposed Sub Dom mice effectively recruit hippocampal GR to the CA1 in response to restraint (B). At the same time, GR immunoreactivity in the BLA and the PVN was not found to be significantly different between strains, nor to be altered 24 hours following restraint.
