Description

In this review, we intended to reveal the infection tendency of FZT (Fishborne zoonotic trematode) metacercariae by the surveyed localities to help the further FZT studies in Laos. Although some limited points exist to show the precise epidemiological situations of ZTM (zoonotic trematode metacercariae) infections in fishes of Laos, the infection tendencies, i.e., suitable fish species, endemicities by the surveyed localities and geographical distribution pattern, of ZTM are roughly revealed in this review.
