Description

The data set includes the data presented and discussed in the study with the title "The Expulsinator device: A new approach for a lab-scaled, near-natural generation- and expulsion simulation." Following data is included: "Assessment if the modifier": Extract yields of one Expulsinator experiment performed without modifier and one experiment with modifier. "Expulsinator liquid & gas yield": Liquid and gaseous product yields of an Expulsinator experiment, performed with Posidonia Shale and a ramp-wise experiment approach. "Expulsinator p-T & compression": Hydrostatic and lithostatic pressures, as well as pyrolysis temperature recorded during the Expulsinator experiment performed with Posidonia Shale and a ramp-wise experiment approach. Additionally, compression data and small-scaled movements of the rock during the experiment is given. "Expulsinator interpolated yield": Liquid and gaseous yields interpolated for each hour of the Expulsinator experiment performed with Posidonia Shale. "Expulsinator vs conventional Py": Bulk geochemical data and liquid and gas yields of the Expulsinator experiment and and conventional closed hydrous pyrolysis experiment for comparison.
