Hourly field dataset of ambient, roof-surface and indoor air temperatures for passive cooling and waterproofing treatments on reinforced-concrete roofs
Description
The dataset [12] consists of one Microsoft Excel workbook, “Roof_Thermal_Performance_Full_Year_BT_incl.xlsx” (about 2 MB), containing six worksheets named BC, SC, SS, ST, TC and BT (Table 1). Each worksheet holds the complete hourly record of one roof configuration. Fig. 1 shows the organisation and Table 2 lists the seven columns, which are identical in all worksheets. The campaign covers 1 June 2025 00:00 to 18 May 2026 23:00 (local time, India Standard Time) with strictly one record per hour: 352 days × 24 h = 8,448 records per worksheet and 50,688 records in total.

Steps to reproduce
Hourly ambient, external roof-surface and indoor air temperatures were logged with Sensirion SCD41-based smart monitoring units (accuracy ±1.0 °C) with cloud transmission, installed at six monitored roof configurations at a field housing site from 1 June 2025 to 18 May 2026. Roofs were treated once, cured as recommended by the manufacturers and not recoated. A Power_Status flag marks hours without valid data (528 of 8,448 per worksheet); values for these hours are blank and were not imputed or filtered. No outliers were removed.
