Reproducibility and Supporting Data for “Exposure, Governance and Corporate Resilience after Brexit”
Description
This dataset contains reproducibility and supporting materials for the study “Exposure, Governance, and Corporate Resilience after Brexit: Separating Causal Identification from Predictive Vulnerability.” The underlying firm-level data were obtained from LSEG Workspace/Refinitiv under license and cannot be redistributed publicly. The deposited workbook therefore contains non-proprietary variable definitions, transformation documentation, aggregate and derived numerical results, model specifications, event-study estimates, machine-learning performance results, figure-source data, and data-quality diagnostics. The underlying licensed firm-level observations are not included.

Steps to reproduce
The deposited Excel workbook contains the non-proprietary supporting and derived data used to document the empirical results reported in the study. Users should begin with the “Repository_README” and “Data_Availability” worksheets, followed by the “Variable_Dictionary” and “Model_Specifications” worksheets. Tables 4–11 and Appendices A1–A4 contain the reported numerical results, while the Figure_Data worksheets provide the numerical source data underlying the manuscript figures. The “Transformation_Audit” worksheet documents the data-processing sequence, including annual 1st/99th percentile winsorisation prior to logarithmic transformation where applicable. Additional audit worksheets document coverage, unit-consistency and statistical-resolution checks. The underlying firm-level data were obtained from LSEG Workspace/Refinitiv under licence and therefore cannot be redistributed publicly. Replication from the raw firm-level observations requires authorised access to the corresponding LSEG/Refinitiv data.
