Supplemental material, data, and Matlab scripts corresponding to the gas explosion model presented in the paper titled "An Endogenic Origin for Titan's Rampart Craters: Assessment of Explosion Mechanisms". Gas explosion model Matlab contains the Matlab scripts composing of the explosion model and can be used to reproduce results. See the user guide in the zipped file and notes contained in the scripts. Full model outputs.xlsx contains the full model results presented for three different gas sources; methane clathrate hydrate (MCH), methane gas (CH4), and nitrogen gas (N2) and five different cap thicknesses (or depths to gas reservoir) each (30, 100, 300, 1500, and 3000 m).


Steps to reproduce

Download the Gas explosion model Matlab scripts. Open and read the user guide before opening the mfiles in Matlab. After adjusting the model inputs (see user guide and notes in the scripts), run the model.
