Fly and Mosquito detection using YOLO
Description
The datset was created for fly and mosquito detection using Yolov8. This file contains 1764 image file and each image file contains text file. This file caries labeling each image <class_id> <x_center> <y_center> <width> <height>. LabelImg was used for this data annotation. The dataset contains three types of images such as fly, mosquito and background. We collected such images from various source of online. The dataset contains 212 plus images for background and others are distributed equally for fly and images. Most of the data represents fly and mosquito. Background images were included to ensure that the model does not falsely trigger detections in non-target environments. This dataset was used to train a YOLOv8-based detection system, which achieved high accuracy in identifying flies and mosquitoes in diverse real-world scenarios.
