HSR Bridge Abutments
Description
Dataset Description Title: Numerical Simulation of HSR Bridge Abutments and Approach Embankments over Soft Soil Description: This dataset presents the results of a series of numerical simulations investigating the mechanical behavior of high-speed railway (HSR) bridge abutments and approach embankments constructed over soft soil. The analyses incorporated prestressed high-strength concrete (PHC) piles and geocell-reinforced embankments, aiming to evaluate both vertical and horizontal responses of the abutment under various loading and design conditions. The dataset contains approximately 180 data points for abutment settlement (Uy) and 84 data points for horizontal displacement (Ux). Each data record includes input and output variables representing soil–structure interaction under braking and vertical loads. Variables: • Uy (mm): Settlement of the abutment (vertical displacement). • Ux (mm): Horizontal displacement of the abutment. • d0 (kN/m): Braking force applied to the abutment. • d1 (kN/m): Vertical load transferred from the superstructure. • d2 (m): Diameter of PHC piles. • d3 (m): Length of PHC piles. Keywords: HSR bridge abutment, PHC pile, geocell-reinforced embankment, soft soil, numerical simulation, settlement, displacement
