Description

The population is composed by BI & Analytics system users, working on companies at Rio de Janeiro / São Paulo. The sample was constructed through the social business network Linkedin, by the dissemination of a survey that was satisfactorily answered. The minimum sample size, based on the number of indicators used in the multiple regression and recommended by Hair, Anderson, Babin, Tathan and Black (2009), of at least five cases per, variable was reached. A total of 260 questionnaires were completed after data collection. There were more than 5 responses per independent variable. The sample has a heterogeneous profile when considering the gender with 27.7% females, representing 72 respondents and 72.3% males or 188 respondents. The average age of respondents was 39.2 years, ranging from 24 years as a minimum and 64 years as a maximum, with a standard deviation of 9.5783 Data were collected using a structured questionnaire using a Likert scale with seven response options ranging from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 7 (Strongly Agree).
