Description

This dataset contains data for modeling output discharge as a function of input precipitation in the Lenguazaque River Basin, a headwater catchment in Cundinamarca, Colombia, South America. The paper where the data, code and results are described in detail is open access and can be found hee: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ejrh.2022.101243 The title is Modeling streamflow in headwater catchments: A data-based mechanistic grounded framework, by Fernandez, Camacho and Nejadhashemi (2022) The dataset is organized in several folders, described as follows: 1RawData: Time series of input precipitation and output streamflow in daily and sub-daily resolutions 2ProcessedData: The same time series after management of outliers and missing data 3ModelResults: Repository of code to work with these datasets 4Code: V2 includes a more detailed version of the codes used in the paper, separated by each individual Stage NOTE: Raw data was provided by the Environmental Agency CAR. Daily data was provided upon request in digital format. Most sub-daily records were available as hardcopy paper charts which were photographed and digitized.
