Description

This is the raw data for our samples of references from 600 articles in 10 ACS articles 2011-2105 downloaded from Scopus. We did an initial round of corrections to the "document type" field as Scopus occasionally records books and other items as "articles" when they are not, but we made some subsequent corrections during the analysis so this field should be checked if you are interested in source types. The journal titles are NOT standardized here, we did that during the analyses. If some clever soul could write a routine for standardizing journal titles that would be awesome and save a lot of work!
