Description

These data describe the climatic conditions in a poultry house in a semi-arid tropical zone. The process consisted of measuring temperatures, relative humidity, and the quantity of CO2 during the chickens' third to the fifth week of growth. The experiment started on April 03, 2022 corresponding to the third week of bird's age. The Log Tag sensor was placed outside the henhouse in the shade during the whole period of the measurements. The outdoor temperature and relative humidity were measured and analyzed using the software Analyser Log Tag 3.1.16. For the measurement of the ambient parameters of the poultry house, all the probes were placed inside the poultry house and then connected to the testo 480 recorder. The probes were placed at a height of 1.5 m from the ground, to capture the ambient conditions in the poultry house. The room temperature, dry bulb temperature, wet bulb temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and the amount of CO2 inside the poultry house were recorded and then submitted for analysis using testo's EasyClimate software. All parameters are measured at 10 minute intervals during the period 03/04/2022 to 21/04/2022
