Description

This paper particularizes three elusive problems in photonic crystals: modeling isolated flat bands; prediction of the electric field; separation of bands in dispersion relations. The solution arrives in twisted square Bravais under commensurable angles. The square Bravais-Moiré photonic crystals exhibit remarkable properties: the bands are grouped by pairs; the pairs are parallel in one of the three Brillouin zones; the electric field can be predicted under parallelism; the isolated and flat floating pairs can be found into wide band gaps; the pairs of bands can be separated by using classification techniques based on the recent shape theory
