Diagnosis and Assessment of Casa del Corregidor: Survey and diagnostic drawings, resistograph testing results and wooden samples

Description

There are two sets of drawings: The survey plans contain information about the geometry of the building and its structure in a precise manner checked on site. The diagnostic plans include section dimensions, singularities, natural defects, timber failures and decays, construction and mechanical damages, concealed areas, as well as instrumental test and photos location. On these plans damages intensity is marked with a colour code and thickened boxes in accordance with the standard UNE 41808. The location of the resistograph testings are indicated in the diagnostic plans. Photos of the 38 wood samples collected are shown. Some were used for microphotography analysis and others were used for density determination.
