Calculation of Ecological flow in Sub-Basins of the Huangshui River Basin Based on the SWAT Model
Description
The data in this database encompass digital elevation data, soil data, land use data, meteorological data, and runoff data from hydrological stations within the Huangshui River Basin. Using these data, readers can establish SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) projects related to the Huangshui River Basin, clearly analyze changes in runoff within the basin, and also utilize these data for conducting other research endeavors.

The Digital Elevation Model (DEM) for the Huanghe River basin were obtained from the digital elevation products available in the geospatial data cloud. The remote sensing monitoring data on land use status (1980-2015) were obtained from the Resource and Environmental Science Data Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The study utilized the “Classification of Land Use Status” (GB/T21010-2017) to reclassify land use data into six main categories: cultivated land, forest land, grassland, water bodies, built-up land, and unused land. Soil data were obtained from the Chinese Soil Database, which includes a total of 17 soil types present in the Huanghe River basin. Meteorological data, including precipitation, temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and sunshine hours (1963-2022), were sourced from the CN05 grid dataset, widely used in water meteorology and hydrological simulation studies. The monthly mutated runoff data (1952-2020) from hydrological stations were provided by the Qinghai Provincial Hydrology and Water Resources Survey Center.
