Description

We present a X-ray scans dataset for aluminium conductor composite core wire (ACCC), to support the research on automatic defect detection for ACCC. The dataset includes samples with and without defects. The original data was collected via a self-designed line climbing robot, which is equipped with X-ray Source and Plane detector, and driven by small industrial control system. The region of interest is automatically clipped onboard once the original data is collected in lab and online. The clipped data is transmitted to a high-performance portable PC via WIFI, and normalization on both contrast and brightness is performed automatically afterwards. The data acquisition is carried on in Jiangsu province. The dataset contains both original data and normalized data.
