Description

This dataset contains data and plots presented in the paper "Analysis of adaptive individual pitch control schemes for blade fatigue load reduction on a 15 MW wind turbine". The dataset encompasses a wide variety of data types, including but not limited to: - Numerical data: Post-processed simulation data and calculations. - Visual data: plots illustrating findings. These data are provided in two folders. The description of these folder and their files is as follows: A) The folder "OptimizationResults" includes: - the dataset ajustes.mat with the parameter obtained by optimization for the different schemes and data of table 3 in the manuscript. - the file figparameters to treat these data to generate the figure 6 in the paper - The file Figure6.fig with this figure in MATLAB format. B) The folders "SimulationResults" includes: - Twenty "mat" files with the raw simulation data obtained with each control scheme for each simulation case. For example, the file "16_Azi_2KP_diferentes_3Param_MyAdapt40s" contains the simulation data of the scheme IPC_I2phi, that is, the IPC scheme with two integral controllers with different gains and with azimuth offset when the case 1 with the mean wind speed varies around 16 m/s. - Files simulationcase1_16.m, simulationcase2_18.m, and simulationcase3_20.m, which are used to treat and generate the data and figures for the corresponding simulation case. Some of these figures are not included in the manuscript. In each file, first, the raw data are treated, then the figures related with the time and frequency responses are generated, and finally, the performance indices are computed. - tratarDatos.m: function: is used to treat and format the simulation raw data - createFigures.m function: is used to create the figure with time responses of variables in the rotating frame (first figure such Figure 7 in the manuscript) and the nonrotating frame (second figure, as Figure 8 in the manuscript) - createfiguresFrec.m function: is used to create the figure with the frequency response as in Figure 9 in the manuscript - calculoIndices.m function: is used to calculate the performance indices of the proposed control schemes - Figure files in the MATLAB format .fig for Figures 7, 8, and 9 in the manuscript.
