3D SR-microCT scans of benthic foraminifera Elphidium clavatum acquired at the Beamline BL 47XU, SPring-8 synchrotron facility (Japan). Samples were collected from Mommark in the Danish Straits, Baltic Sea entrance, covering the Last Interglacial period. Two zip files contain .tiff image files which are the image sequences of 3D scans with 500 and 385 nm resolution (voxel size). The excel datasheet contains information regarding scan file name, depth, and age. The images can be used for generating 3D models of foraminiferal morphology. The morphological parameters include size, volume, surface area, thickness, pore patterns, chambers, etc.
