Hyperonized neutron stars within the framework of the σ-cut scheme

Description

The recently proposed σ-cut scheme is able to harden the equation of state of neutron stars, therefore increases the maximum mass of neutron stars. We are interested to find out whether we can use the σ-cut scheme to solve the so called “hyperon puzzle”. Through careful choice of the parameter of the σ-cut scheme, we are able to produce a maximum mass neutron star heavier than 2.01 M_sun when hyperons are included. This data contains the macroscopic properties of neutron star calculated using numerical codes.
